Jimmy on the right track, World Famous at 17yrs old

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

The quest for Jimmy Davids to obtain HHN reputation is on the right track, just today he obtained World Famous at a tender age of 17yrs old. I'm hoping before the season end he will be HHN (13 days away), it's tricky but quite possible as long as he continues to perform and stay healthy.

Keane's Last Stand Football Association

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

Permission granted for a new FA, Keane's Last Stand Football Association or KLSFA in short, less than 48hours before lock down. With a max club limit of 80 the FA were 60 clubs strong in less than 24hours and roughly 4 hours before lock down the limit were reached. It's going to be an interesting and hopefully fun season ahead with majority of the online users being in the new active FA.

I've also managed to lower Alejandro's wage to £4k, ultimately bringing our club's financial projection on an upward trend (no more excess wage tax! woohooo!)

16yrs old, 4 stars reputation and he's not even a Brazilian!

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

I knew he was good and I was pretty sure he could reach 3.5stars reputation at a tender age of 16yrs old but getting to 4stars rep on his 1st ever season is a 1st! Not even my ex Lineker wonderkid, Fernando de Souza, was able to reach 4stars rep that fast (probably because de Souza is a wing back while Jimmy is a forward, thus more recognition).

My aim was for Jimmy to reach World Famous at 17yrs old and Household by 18yrs old, now I think getting to Household at 17yrs old next season could be a possibility. He just need to perform consistently and stay away from the sick ward. He could be the 1st youth to reach Household at 17yrs old and he's not even a Brazilian! (Generally Brazilian regenerate at 15yrs old so they have a season extra to develop)

Crickey, how did I missed Philippe Lachuer

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

I've been so absorbed with Jimmy Davids' rising development/reputation that I totally forgot another youth which I've signed at the start of the season, 16yrs old D/WB/AML French Philippe Lachuer. I even have him in a squad screen shot posted on 15th Nov, sorry lad!

His ACQ is now twice as high as Jimmy's but funny thing is his reputation is still at 3stars while Jimmy got his 3.5stars much much earlier.

Quick look at Jimmy, Daniele and Alejandro's development

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

Jimmy turns out to be a fantastic (and expensive in terms of daily wage) acquisition. He obtained 3.5stars reputation at a tender age of 16yrs old, only 5 days after regeneration! Simply amazing, reminds me so much of Fernanda de Souza in Lineker GW in terms of value, quality and development. Thanks to SI I'll never know how well he'll turn out in his prime :(

Daniele didn't get as much playing time as I would have liked but his value is increasing at a steady pace as well as his development.

My fault for ruining Alejandro's development, there's no way to play him with a healthy Hugo Emanuel around. I'm tempted to rebid his wage next week, still deciding :(

Youth Mega League U18 & U19 triumph

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

After the bombshell announcement by SI to completely reset all gameworlds by March 2010 (they didn't learn a thing from Star Wars Galaxies NGE epic failure) due to their own fault as somehow they figured it does not matter to punish existing loyal managers but to look forward and entice new "casual" managers to join them (casual managers are those who don't play the game often and 60% of them quits 3 months down the road). Brilliant SI, just simply brilliant... would love to see the brains behind your MMORPG gaming division as well as your marketing people.

Anyway back to the good news :) The kids has finally won some trophies! Comprehensive victories in both U18 and U19 Youth Mega League.

Further youth acquisition and a minor setback

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

I'm done recruiting for this season due to wage overload (£266k per day, excess wage tax ughhh!). Managed to bring in 3 quality regens to compliment my current set of youth. Feast your eyes on the 3 youth below (excuse for the crazy wage) :

Jimmy Davids 16yrs old French AMRC + FC

Alejandro Salina 16yrs old Argentine AMR

Daniel Guastella 16yrs old Italian MRC

Of course, every season I'll have one lad (if lucky) out for 1-2 weeks. This season my defensive pillar, Francesco Galliano, broke his leg and will be out for 1-2 weeks. I'm learning physio now, hopefully I can shorten the length.

Keane GW Season 13 update

Apology for the missing updates in the past weeks. I've gone full youth in both Keane and Lineker GWs, spent most of the time searching for potential youth regens. I think that's the best part about being a youth coach, scouting! Then comes the bidding war and of course shortly after winning the war you'll regret for a few hours on the ridicuous wage you're paying for a 15/16yrs old! hahahaha......... ahem.....

My current set of youth aren't too shabby, majority of them were acquired shortly after going youth two seasons ago so they are now 18yrs old. I've sent a few over to my feeder club as well as sold a few to keep the club afloat due to the high wage total and also low reputation (resulted in low daily income). I've managed to pick up 3 great looking 16yrs old in recent wage auction and I'm pretty sure they will turn out to be worthwhile gems.

A screen shot of the current squad, a detailed screens of each player another time. Am playing 4-5-1 formation and also experimenting with a modifield version of 4-4-1-1.

End of 11th Season in Keane GW

I've managed to dump most of my senior players, with only Jose Piedrafita, Byro, Jean Silva and Omar Palacios to go. With the newly acquired funds I've rebuilt two of my stadium stands and has been spending the last few days acquiring potential youth players. One of the few things I hate about "Finance" Manager Live is that I'll be taxed on profits generated from my players sales, to avoid it I will need to spend a bulk of the profit on my stadium, two Exclusif corporate boxes should do the trick, I hope...

Another annoying thing about FML is that if you have an activity rating of 1 star and if you play a dozen of games in a day you're guaranteed to be faced with a massive injury list. As I'm going back to youth and naturally my youth rating is at 1 star, I have a stupidly long list of injuries. Screen capture below >:(

Massive sales at Hanabishi FC!

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

After much thinking (and also the fact that I've reached #1 in GW ranking and mainting it for the past few days) I've decided to go back to youth. Some players have already parted, Michal Visek for £1.5mil, Claudiu Coman for £1.85mil, Freddy Adu for £2.6mil, and just recently Miralem Sulejmani for £2.5mil.

I've only managed to bring in 2 youth but more will follow from my partner's club once he's back from his holiday, not to mention I've few regen bids running. Will do a screen shot once I have a full squad of regens ready.

Rafael Carioca signs for Hanabishi United

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

Rafael Carioca, a 30yrs old DM, signs for United after a fee of £2.4mil was accepted by Radoslaw Nowak's Inter Reisha. Carioca is no stranger to United as he was part of our early squad from 1st to 3rd season in Lineker. Undoubtly he's one of my favorite FML players and we're simply estatic to have him on board again!

Unfortunately as a player join our ranks another has to leave. Talented 20yrs old Andy Heath joins Jacob McGinty's JJMFC for £2.5mil + 20% future sell on. He's a brilliant prospect but the money was too good to ignore. We wish his new manager the best of luck!

Commercial Level 5 done!

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

After 44days+ of waiting it's finally finished, say hello to Commercial Level 5! Next skill to learn is Contract Negotiation Level 5, another long ass wait, 22days+ :(

Quick update - Lineker's 12th season just kicked off last night, the latest patch 1.3 will be delayed till next month (extended domination of 4-6-0 formation?), and we're still ranked #1 :)

Managers' Manager of the Season

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

After a good showing in the senior stage last season I was awarded the prestigious Managers' Manager of the Season! A big thank you to those who voted for me :)

I also came in third for two other awards, Manager of the Season and Most Improved Manager of the Season.

Mats Hummels sign for Hanabishi United

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

Another new addition to our squad is Mats Hummels, a 30yrs old DC + DM, transferred from Rob Barker's The Tangerine Candyfloss for £1.5mil. Young prospect defender, 18yrs old Vaclav Roscky, left for City Rangers in a £525k + 25% future sell on.

We may sign another player before the new season kicks off (4 days away)

Conclusion to Hanabishi United's season

Although Lineker's season ended last night ours officially ended just a moment earlier as we lost 0-1 in the final game against Ricardo's Carrazeda Ansiaes in the XFF UEFA Champions League. It was a well deserved victory for Ricardo as his side completely overpowered mine, 59% total possession throughout the match!

Ok time for a quick review of our official senior honors haul for season 11:
SUPER Cup of Nations : Rest of the World
SUPER Cup of Nations : World Cup Finals
SUPER English Premier League
SUPER Mega League
SUPER Weekly Cup One
SUPER Weekly Cup Two
UFFA Lineker Cup Winners' Cup
UFFA Lineker World Cup
XFF Barclays Premier League
XFF Carling Cup

Not too bad eh? :)

Oscar Ustari joins Hanabishi United

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

Managed to sign a new goalkeeper, Oscar Ustari, for £252k today after his previous club placed him in a £1 auction few days ago. He will be replacing Renan for next season's campaign as his contract will run out in the next 48hours as we have decided not to renew his service.

Oscar Ustari - Goalkeeper, 32yrs old

The current season will end tomorrow and we have 3 more finals to play, XFF Champions League against Ricardo's Carrazeda Ansiaes, Lineker World Cup against Tan's Liverpool XI FC, and finally SUPER Mega League against Daz Hagreaves' FC Tensixty (Bojan + Sergio Aguero!). I'm hoping to win at least 1 of them to close our season on a high note.

The Galaticos approach

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

We have been sitting pretty at #1 for the past few days, I've noticed slight changes to our club's biography. We're now known as Lineker's Galaticos!

Keane GW Season 10 officially ended

The season ended yesterday night, the new season will officially kick off on 13th September. Luckily we do not have any contract problem, yet, as most of our players were signed last season on a two seasons deal, the contract nightmare will kick in at the end of next season though!

We will be looking to bring in 1 or 2 new faces for next season's campaign, depending on how our finance holds up. We might even offload a player if the offer is enticing and of course if there's a ready replacement in hand.

Right now I'm experimenting with 4-2-3-1 + different settings, would love to settle on a permanent formation for next campaign rather than switching from 4-4-2/4-3-2-1/4-6-0, etc. Will need a few days for the squad to get used to them.

A quick recap of trophies won in season 10 :
SUPER Super Mega League B
SUPER Super Weekly Cup Three
UFFA Keane Grassroots Cup

I'm hoping for better showing next season before my squad gets dismantled by wage auction!

GWs update

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

No movement in the rankings, we're still ranked #2 and top of XFF Premiership although my friend Ricardo's Carrazeda Ansiaes who is currently ranked #1 in the GW are only 11 points behind us in XFF Premiership with 4 games in hand. We're known to buckled under pressure so I don't have a huge expectation of us maintaining the lead in the next few days.

On to the good news! We're now officially a 4.5* reputation club, that means "Excellent" in reputation and raking in a good sum of profit from our daily income. However due to our high wage (£281k), installment payment for transfers and stadium upgrades for the next 5-8 weeks, our balance in the bank won't be increasing any time soon.

Reputation

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

Francesco Bolzoni was offloaded for £1.5mil late yesterday and as a replacement we brought in 31yrs old Matias Fritzler for £750k as well as versatile player 30yrs old Aleandro Rosi for £650k. To secure our future we have also started construction on our East Stand, converting it to a 3-tier Aziendale II stand.

Injuries creeping up

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

Seems like the injury bug is beginning to spread, Andrew Ayew suffered a broken shoulder and Roberto Castillo twisted his knee. However both should be back within a day or two.

One more injury and I'll be in big trouble as currently I have only two subs on the bench to call upon. Very tempted to sign a backup player for a season but that will probably screw up my finance!

Just when I quit youth this season there's a sudden influx of high potential regens last night. How many? Shit loads! I've never seen this much high pot regens before, not even in Keane GW and beta GWs!

A quick look at our ranking as of today :

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Hatem Ben Arfa signs for Hanabishi United

We are proud to announce the signing of Hatem Ben Arfa on a £1.85mil deal, with 17yrs old Italian wonderkid Stefano Monti heading the opposite direction. With this massive signing we have signaled to the rest of the Game World of our ambition!

Game World updates

Hanabishi United - Lineker GW

We were dealt with a massive blow to our campaign today as Carlos Eduardo suffered a torn calf muscle in a friendly match and will be ruled out for 5-8 days. As a first choice wide left midfielder his absence will be sorely missed as we try to bring home more bacon this season.

We managed to offload most of the remaining youth for their market value plus % future sell on, ranging from 25-30%. We are now trying to see if we can get a favorable offer for Stefano Monti, a massive young talent with a bright future. The fund gathered will be used to purchase a holding midfielder or an attacking midfielder who is able to play on either wings.

Quick look at our ranking as of today :

Hanabishi FC - Keane GW

As the end of the season is just around the corner (6th Sept.) we further boosted our squad's depth by signing a young striker and a young right back on temporary loan as cover. We are also looking into the possibility of selling our defensive midfielder, Francesco Bolzoni, in the next few days. The fund will be used to bring in an attacking midfielder or a new DM with lower wage demand.

A quick look at our ranking as of today :

Hanabishi United - A brief look

Although our 4-4-1-1 formation proves to be quite successful in youth comps it failed to provide any consistency in senior scene. Thus the money generated from earlier sales were pumped into acquiring players fit for 4-6-0 formation, more than 13mils worth!

The Formation

The Players

Goalkeeper - Renan 34yrs old, acquired for £480k from free agent pool

Right Back - Jerome Boateng 30yrs old, acquired for £1.6mil

Left Back - Fernando de Souza 20yrs old, from our youth academy

DCR - Cristian Zapata 32yrs old, acquired for £2.2mils

DCL - Alexander Hiden 24yrs old, acquired for £1mil

Wide Right Midfielder - Mirko Coletti 25yrs old, from our youth academy

Wide Left Midfielder - Carlos Eduardo 31yrs old, acquired for £950k

Center Midfielder - Andy Heath 19yrs old, from our youth academy

AMCR - Roberto Castillo 25yrs old, acquired for £1.8mil

AMC - Luis Hernandez 26yrs old, acquired for £1.8mil

AMCL - Guilherme 30yrs old, acquired for £2mils

Sub Bench
CB - Vaclav Rosicky 18yrs old, acquired for £525k

AMRL - Andrew Ayew 29yrs old, acquired for £800k

MC - John Crocker 20yrs old, from our youth academy

AMC - Stefano Monti 17yrs old, from our youth academy

DC+DM - Granddi Ngoyi 30yrs old, acquired for £108k during offseason wage bid

I gather it will be one hell of a nightmare at the end of next season when almost everyone's contracts are up for renewal! I will also need to decide soon if I should get rid of my remaining youth, most of whom are below 18yrs old, and invest on another quality player, Rafael Carioca perhaps?
